Kapsaliana is a village in itself with a fascinating group of stone buildings of Cretan and Venetian architecture, nestling in peaceful surroundings with superb views of the countryside and the sea. It is located in the countryside in the prefecture of Rethymnon, Crete, 18 km from the main town of Rethymno.
It is the perfect place for rest and relaxation, particularly as the whole settlement has been painstakingly renovated using natural materials to create a harmonious blend of old and new. The mixture of the traditional Cretan architecture of the houses and courtyards combined with Venetian carved stone vaults and outside staircases make it a simpy stunning place to stay
Fifteen of the original houses have been carefully converted into comfortable elegant, comfortable guest houses clustered around the old Olive Press. Seven new houses have been created with the same architecture as the original houses. Each house is individual in design and has all modern amenities within simple, tasteful interiors.
All rooms & suites have king size double beds, rainfall shower bathroom, working desk, water boiler, coffee, tea selection, mini bar with Cretan delicacies, free Wi-Fi, telephone, safe box, satellite TV, Apivita natural beauty care products, slippers, bathrobes, individually controlled air conditioning and central heating. Some rooms & suites have their own fireplace and a private terrace
There is also a large outdoor swimming pool with spacious paved areas equipped with sun beds and umbrellas overlooking the olive groves and the sea, along with a snack bar by the pool
At the centre of the settlement is a large stone building with outside terrace and garden square, this houses the reception and the A la Carte restaurant specially with a specially arranged outdoor area sheltered by a pergola
