From the moment you step into the open-air beachfront lounge you will feel yourself switch into relaxation mode. Seagrape trees prop up wooden beams and thatched roofs, bringing the outside in and the dark wood furniture is complemented by comfy white sofas, lush plants and decorative seashells.

The accommodation at the resort is perfect for an indulgent romantic getaway. The private, stand-alone cottages are all constructed entirely of wood, wattle and other indigenous materials. The only corridors here are outdoor pathways that take you through rich, colourful gardens down to the beach.

Your balcony includes a traditional West Indian hammock, comfy deck chairs and even a private pool with loungers and shade depending on the room category you book.

You can choose to have your room air-conditioned or opt for natural air cooling via windows and French doors. The decor is natural and fresh, from the hand-crafted wooden furniture to the live floral arrangements that are replenished each day. And best of all you get to shower outdoors amongst a collection of tropical plants with a wonderful ocean view. Each room and cottage has a double Bali Bed on the beach exclusively assigned to you.

Keyonna Beach is the perfect place to totally disconnect from the humdrum and stresses of everyday life. Your time at the resort will be a haven for rest, relaxation and a chance to reconnect with yourself and your partner.

To this end, none of the cottages have a television, in fact, there isn't a television anywhere on property - but you can connect your devices to the complimentary Wi-Fi to stream your favourite shows, should you wish.

The on-site beach-front restaurant is a multi-tiered, wooden terrace offering al fresco dining beneath a canopy of seaside grape trees. The menu is an eclectic mix of West Indian cuisine and fresh local seafood. A choice of vegetarian dishes is also available and special dietary requirements are accommodated on request. Service is a la carte for all meals and there are no buffets.

There are never any crowds on the long deserted, white sand beach, which is dotted with an assortment of cosy Bali Beds each offering a front row view of the beautiful seascape punctuated by the silhouettes of neighbouring tropical islands. The Bali beds are a perfectly unique way to nap, after a swim, in the arms of your partner or to simply relax together while sipping on the fabulous cocktails and rum punches and enjoying the view.

Spend your days lazing by the pool. Relaxation is the key here but a number of excursions can be arranged locally, such as tours or snorkelling and boat trips.
